Hello everyone,
I'm currently in the process of setting up my Ultima Online server using ServUO and wanted to share a bit about my journey, along with a heartfelt request for assistance.
I’ve been working with the Ultima Online Classic Client v7.0.105.0, which I downloaded directly from uo.com on November 3rd, 2024. Despite the client being relatively new, I was amazed at how seamlessly ServUO has adapted to support these updated versions. Additionally, I found some fantastic tools here on the forum to assist with decrypting the client. I truly appreciate the hard work this community has put into ensuring that even modern clients are compatible with the emulator. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed!
Now, on to the main reason for my post:
To give some context: I managed to get past the login screen successfully, but as soon as I select a character to enter the game world, everything crashes. It’s frustrating because I’m so close, yet so far from making this work.
I recently heard from a friend who runs a server using a different emulator. He’s a big fan of Yoko Injection and, surprisingly, managed to make it work with newer clients. According to him, it involved tweaking how his server handled and responded to packets from the client. This leads me to believe there might be hope for making it work with ServUO as well.
Again, I know that many posts here are about blocking tools like Injection, but I’m hoping to do the opposite: make it work. Any support or advice would be hugely appreciated, and I’m eager to collaborate with anyone interested in tackling this challenge.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for any help you can provide.
Here is the video: in the comments of the video there is the zip of Yoko Injection in the most recent version known according to their forum.

My Request for Compatibility with Yoko Injection
I know this might sound like an unusual ask, but I hope some of you can lend your expertise to help me. I’ve always had a soft spot for the Yoko Injection tool (a classic Ultima Online assistant), and I’m trying to make it work with these newer client versions. To give some context: I managed to get past the login screen successfully, but as soon as I select a character to enter the game world, everything crashes. It’s frustrating because I’m so close, yet so far from making this work.
Some Background Information
I’ve seen that older discussions on the Yoko Injection forums (like this one) referenced the latest Injection version hosted on Google Drive, which was released around 2015. Unfortunately, it appears that the original link is now dead, likely because the project has been abandoned. Thankfully, I had a backup of this version saved in one of my old GitHub repositories, and I’m willing to share it with anyone interested.I recently heard from a friend who runs a server using a different emulator. What I'm Looking For
If anyone has experience with modifying ServUO to support tools like Yoko Injection or has knowledge about making packet handling more flexible, I’d be incredibly grateful for any guidance. I understand that even if we manage to enable login functionality, there could still be limitations with compatibility. Nevertheless, I’m determined to give it a shot.Shared Resources
To help facilitate this, I’m sharing the latest version of Yoko Injection (as of 2015) and a short video demonstrating the crash issue I’m encountering. Hopefully, this will provide some clarity and context.Again, I know that many posts here are about blocking tools like Injection, but I’m hoping to do the opposite: make it work.
