A1: No. The patch server software can run on the same computer as your shard.

#7: Does this use diffs or full file transfers?
A1: Full file transfers. Diff patch support will be added in the future.

#8: Do I get more than one theme?
A1: No. The package contains the base, unbranded theme only.

#9: The patch server won't launch, what am I doing wrong?
A1: If the patch server briefly pops up then closes, make sure your root "Ultima Online" folder exists.
A2: Make sure your logged-in user has sufficient permissions to read/write data to/from its root folder.
A3: Run as Administrator usually fixes it.
