    Thanks Bitinok but I think I figured it out... It all comes down to the color levels and the effects you apply... Infact in default UO you can see that shading you are talking about so yes that is contributing to the darkness... Unfortunately it is being applied to anything that is a texture...

    Changing only Dungeon Spawns

    This sounds like a common issue in UO. Specifically at Destard when you are trying to escape the dragons and they just wait on the inside for about 60 seconds then buzz off... It honestly just takes a little time for the mobs to disperse so I would just sit outside for about 5-10 minutes next time.

    How to make a bat file to skip the key press...

    I don't know of or ever hear of anyone out there complaining of having to press a key to get the client to run but I find it pretty annoying when constantly running into errors so I make a third type of bat file that I call "CUSTOM START" and it pretty much boots up your server like dragster...
