Can you help me about anim.mul and anim4.mul, new mounts I add have target problems.
 
Fantastic work on this. I'm always impressed by material that extends the original assets so effectively.
 
Hello, can someone help or point me to some steps to install/use this vd file? Ive never messed with animations and relatively new to ServUO, but Ive dabbled with some help from others on this forum and have used UOFiddler for things like customizing gumps. Would love to get this to work on my shard as one of the things, although minor, that has always bugged me is the lack of a saddle on horses.
 
Good morning,
to install the saddle you go to UOfiddler => Animations tab => settings => animation edit.
Then, the easiest way to start is to install it in the anim.mul and not the others (if you put it in the others, you will have to do manipulations in the bodyconv).
Since it will be equipment, you must install .vd it in a free location after the P400 and then you do MISC => save.
You go to the Items tab and you add the saddle item, you put the layer you want and the Weapon, Wearable flags.

Then, it will be scripting and I don't know how to help you with that because I work on SphereX but you can test with examples of any equipment script.

Ok I added the .vd in animations under unused P432.

In items tab, I used one of the MissingName slots to add it. When you say put layer you want, does it make a difference what value goes in there?

Also, I only see what I added in the animation tab when in edit mode (like above). It does not appear when I go to the tab like all the rest, not sure if this matters.

I wonder if you might be able to create a brand new layer for mobiles like for monsters to show up. Like adding a barding layer for horses and stuff would be in the server core of course like Saddle = 0x1E would need its own packet I am assuming in the item.cs in server core
 
I made the "full" saddle for those who want to "stick" it to the existing animations (the Rastero program allows it).
At this time there is no problem except for old clients with "limited" (hardcoded) IDs.

On the other hand, the cut saddle is indeed for those who would like to use "blank" layers (face, talisman) but the order of display of the layers can pose a problem.
It is therefore necessary to work in the client.
