How to Download and Start Server?

Hello, just wondering how I would go about downloading the master copy of the most updated client and starting it up on my own computer as a server? Just looking to try my hand at scripting and stuff a little bit, have no experience, so don't really know where to start.

For the Client, head on over to UO.com.

Download, Install, Update and play.
 
I know this is quite old but I'm hitting a brick wall. I've followed all steps, I can get my server to run, at least I think it is. It keeps telling me though that there are no account each time it's run so I don't know how to get an account to stick to be able to log into. When I boot up UO all I can do is login to my normal Broadsword EA account but does not allow me at all to connect to my server. I keep being told to use Visual Studio but all that does it help open up files to be configed, which I can easily do with just Wordpad. So all the config files in the ServUO have been edited. I'm at a loss here and not sure what to do. It's frustrating when I've closely followed all the videos to learn how to do this but there has to be something that did not get discussed. I've also been told to try Razor but all that does is seem to run it's own Ultima and has nothing to do with ServUO. So... Any help? Anyone hit that same brick wall?
 
When you try to connect, do you see activity on the server console? like it saying you tried to login?

Here, maybe posting what it shows will help. No, the account I created doesn't even closely match my EA account so don't try, or if you think there is some sensitive data in there, let me know and I will edit it. This is just a simple old computer I did a fresh windows install on. All drivers were updated. I will admit that if I have to have like 5 different programs to run this thing and connect to it I get very impatient. I'm not looking to have players on my server. It's just a project to play around with. I'd rather just join another players server to play Ultima with others. I am well aware of UO Outlands. I think one of my friends was a GM there but I think he just had a falling out with it. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Craziest thing... With all this Trump media stuff my wife has the tv on 24/7 now and I can't listen to any of my sound because it will disturb what she is watching. So I started looking for my headset and the first place I look... I find my old Ultima Online cloth map. Anyone still have theirs?

If you are not seeing any activity on the console window when you are trying to login, then you are not making a connection, if the server is running on the same PC as the one you are going to play on, then use 12:37:20 Listening: 127.0.0.1:2593 thats the same IP for everyone, its just saying to look locally for the server, try that if you havent and see if you get anything on the console when trying to connect.
 
It looks like your server is running fine, you just need to connect to it. Use Razor as a launcher, putting in your server details, not the UO desktop icon. Since you're not saving your server, the account your creating is being lost each time. Once you actually get in to your server, use [save, at some point and it'll stay. Double check DataPath.cs as well and make sure theres no errors, because your ServUO is getting a default value for some reason.
