Hello there, I want to create something on Uo that has something like Idle Clicker games this is the trend now days, and almost everything is idle, and playable while afk, and I thought about getting these up, and running on the shard, and do an experiment to see how it work out. The reason I thought of this is because everybody love to afk farm using bots, and easy uo, and I figure why not we make a program that run while they go offline instead?

If anybody is interested in trying to create a program please let me know, but if nobody is interested I will start it up, and try my best to have y'all to help to get them working with some script some where to see if we can get them started.

The way it has to work it need to be able to have a pop up with option for players to click, and a way for player to chip in like gold, or items to increase the number like for an example ingots from veteran rewards that mining cart it give 10 ingots per day random, and if we donate 5,000 ingot it will generate 11 ingot per day, and it need to be able to have reset option that give special token, or something that you can use to increase something to generate even more ingot like real idle games does.

I'm guessing it's not a hard project, and it may be a few month of work maybe to get one running, and working, and I've never had a project that last longer than a week, or two that doesn't work, and this will be the most challenging project that I've got involve, and I think this is a great idea, and maybe many shard will adopt this idea, and possibly even EA will adopt it if it does get popular.

I was thinking about adding many type of items here is list of idea that I have.

1. Mining
2. Gold
3. Loots from random monster
4. Artifacts minor, and major
5. regents of all type from peerless, and all.

Alright this is what I was thinking, and like for an example artifacts it'll drop one per week then if you get 10, and chip it in it will generate 2 artifacts per week, and if you give 100 it will generate 10 per week.

Alright I've been thinking about this project for awhile, and wanting to get this going, but did not know how then I realize we can use the mining cart method, and we can make it a random item, and it'll have gump, and we can click the gump to make it working that way.

Give feed back what y'all think on that then I'll try to start out using a mining cart script, and see if I can get a gump going, and make a custom gump, and some how make it working maybe.

I am going to comment here because I sort of like this idea, and I want to keep it on my watched threads list. I have some ideas for this, but will wait to respond when I am at home and can work out stuff using my test server.

I remember a shard once that have interest rate when you put gold in bank, and it give free gold from interest rate.

I do not think this will work I know it'll be hard to replicate a real idle game that is on phone like capitalism, or clicker heros.

There is already an rpg idle games, but UO is an rpg games, and players are using Easy uo to afk farm so maybe we can create one then it'll reduce player from having to run easy uo, and they can just log in, and get the item on a daily basic, and try to get it to produce more item instead of afk botting to farm items.

O.K. I will post a script a mining cart this will be the beginning of the project to try to get some idea how to get them going, and we may not use this script, or we can use other scripts. The way it need to work is deposit ingot, and it need a number showing like level 1, 2, 3, 4, and etc maybe we do not need gump, or anything just a click button, and it'll have info hovering on top of them when we put mouse over it.

We need to fix it where player can just drop ingot in there then the number that hover, or however will show how many more ingot to level it up to the next level.

It will probably be primitive, but it's a project, and we can just start something to see if it work.

We need to make it where it says 5,000 ingot then it increase every time to gain a level like 5k then 7.5k, and etc.

I forgot how to post script that let it scroll if anybody doesn't mind telling me again?

When editing a post, the button that looks like </> will let you paste code in. Or you can just type the word code surrounded by square brackets to start the code then /code surrounded by square brackets to close it.

It will look like this without the extra spaces I added to show it here:

[ code ]
// This is where you paste your code...
[ /code ]

Theres a script that clone player on logout:

Why not just make a gump, and let player select what they want to do while offline, then whenever they logout, just a simple script that attach and increase X value to the cloned player? wouldnt that be easier? :p

sorry for my bad english

So how can a clone work? Can player still mine offline, and farm items, and gold?

What you're saying is this script may work when player log out, and we can add what it will earned offline?
