Im using an old runuo( version 2.2)

Momsters get stuck all the time and cant even path around corners and such.

Thes an a*star algorithm, do npc even use it?

Servuo has it too are npc also dumb on servuo?

NPCs are pretty smart on ServUO
Id switch... no reason to use something as "obsolete" as RunUO atm

Do they find the path and the entrance whenever theres a room?

And yeah im using an old framework the server is way too customized i cannot switch to a newer version

Some people forget that I think...that when you start changing your version so heavily...it is pretty much a version you stick with. I run RunUO 2.2 myself because of this...but I have no issues like you describe so if it were sudden I could only recommend to reflect on recent changes you made to the game.

Same, we have the same server since 23 years and we started with RunUO 1.0. We just cherry-pick changes and keep modifying it, but it's impossible to convert old servers xD

Chucl, I'd suggest checking ServUO latest pathing and see where you can pick elements to update your own. AI also can support in that, tailoring updates and modification to your own version (to quicken the job). Human touch is always needed though, AI is not so smart, yet.
