So trying to convert the interior decorator to a move everything tool for GMs to use, I have this and it compiles but still won't let you move addons, houses or mobs, it will move items or chests etc.. I'm sure I am missing something so thought I would post it here fore someone else to look at :)

I don't have time to really go through it right now...but I think what your looking for is in your OnTarget module. There's an IF that checks if it's a stairs and an Else If that checks if it's an addoncomponent.

It's always helpful to remember how the scripts work because when you are writing a script, you can refer to other scripts to see how specific things are done.
 
Not sure if it would help maybe some of the code in the script might? I still have the Addon Helper script which moves addons

Even if it doesn't help me glad you posted it, I like this!

I'd recommend looking up the Move command (I think that's located in the commands folder) to see how that's scripted. You can move about anything with that command (minus exact z height).

I use this and it moves addons and mobs, not houses though i believe, however it should have some good ideas in it you might like to check out
 
I looked....I THINK there's a [move command. I've used it before (my server is temporarily down for computer issues so I can't check). I can't seem to find the origin of the command though. Hmm....

So yeah. Try the GMTool....and see how it works.
 
this is preventing you from moving Addons

The GMTool is a good resource. You need to pass Object o to your movement methods instead of Item. Then find the type for o in each method and then cast to that type and move it. as seen below

You'll need additional check for BaseMulti to move houses
