Hello everyone I would have a problem with the system Daat99 , I explain step by step ... I take the folder daat99 downloaded from this forum , I replace all the file , close it and start the core ... and I start from this problem ..

you can help me solve it ?? I have a script of low-level and now I find myself with this problem ... I hope you can help me .....
 
are you trying to add OWLTR 3.01.0..... daat99 is the original author make sure you give complete description or no one will be able to help also if it is OWLTR it is not drag and drop plus this version was bugged Hammerhand was working on an updated version for Servuo 54 but not sure how far along he is or was or where he got off to
 
sorry if I said I wrong .... I 'm trying to implement the system OWLTR 3.01.0 , as I wrote in the installation there , I copy all the files that the core tells me that are already existing , ccioe delete the original files the script folder and leave the file folder OWLTR 3.01.0 ... and here I is a first problem .... this :

Im trying to tell you that the version your using will not work correctly with publish 54 even if you get it to compile
it wont work right

:eek:some body posted the owltr before testing it with publish 54 <(A LOT HAS CHANGED)
& told everybody hey it works but it don't so If i were you i would wait :confused:

:cool:HAMMERHAND & :DSOME:) OTHERS ARE WORKING ON fixing it will take some time SO WAIT & take owltr out it will not work right I tried it its not compatible right now
 
ok sorry if I misunderstood .. but I repeat in use google translator and apathetic does not translate very well ... one last question ... and to have a token system , custom wood and other materials , where can I find them ?? ?
 
Agree I would wait for Daat99's Custom OWLT to become updated :)
Other wise you would need to find a token script along with custom woods and leather which is updated - but you could search Runuo for this
 
owltr is awesome! I really want this system too but the people working on it have a lot of experience & they are having a hard time with some of the systems its no easy feat

I would say you should start with surface phenomenon like items npcs & quests this is the best way to get familar with how the scripts work with the core scripts like player mobile (serialize deserialize) Base Creature Base-files in general. so your ready when this system is released you will have an easier time putting it in correctly
 
Not having a hard time actually. Just working full time with a screwy schedule while working with another to fix a few issues PLUS creating & testing new stuff for it. As they say.. "Rome wasnt built in a day".. Most of the work is done, now its mainly final testing & fine tuning... when I have the time. My work schedule is (hopefully) back to normal now so I should be able to actually concentrate on the thing instead of falling asleep at the keyboard because I've been working a completely different shift than I'm used to. And honestly, when merged correctly , OWLTR 3.01 works just fine with Publish 54. My update is mainly just to fix some issues & add a few new things.
 
thanks ............ I know what you mean by working times very stressful anchio do a job apathetic covers me day and night with only one day off ... but wait impatiently for your update , in between I will try to find a way to run this version on my server ... thanks again
 
Yea sorry @Amalek guess it can be done but
I just remember for those of us who are at beginner level or new to the changes from RunUO to get it to work with Pub 54 wasn't happening. for me at-least it just kept going in circles Error this error that. I gave up

I am curious though will there be less edits with this new release I think that would be the biggest help for most if there were less core edits but I'm not picky, I hear the changing schedule that stuff messes me up beyond belief.
& no rush man take your time do your thing.

I believe the updated system will still require some edits but these edited files will be included as part of the download. For less experienced users this should only involve the removal of some original files in the script folder that the OWLTR system provides replacements for. It only gets complicated if you have previously edited those files.

I am doing as you say , I came to a point where the champions crafter me an error at all champ ... and I state that I have not changed anything , I only changed upon the required files from the system ...:):):)
