After a pretty long time of developing this project,
we're finally releasing our first shard in the Ultima Shards multiverse.
Ultima Shards : Age of Shadows
I want to quickly thank ServUO and the community for all your work and support for Ultima Online fans.

What is Ultima Shards: Multiverse?
We are a new project geared towards pushing the boundaries of what UO is capable of.
We will be releasing different eras of freeshards, starting with the AOS era first.
While our aim is to make sure that UO still feels like UO and that combat mechanics stay relative to their era, we think that its about time the game got some updated features.
Enhanced Guild System - Progress your guild to level 25 by killing monsters, participating in PvP, and completing guild daily/weekly quests. As you level up, you are awarded companions that can be sent out on story line missions that reward the guild with gold and resources. You can spent those on items from the guild store, including extra companions, guild wide items, and even Perks (Buffs) that strengthen as the guild levels increase. Lastly, in the near future, you will be able to place and build your very own Guild Fortress tile by tile and participate in large-scale Guild vs Guild sieges.
Instanced Dungeons (Similar to World of Warcraft) - We've created special dungeons that players can challenge with daily/weekly resets and boss mechanics that require your party to react and maneuver similar to a boss in WoW. These dungeons are tough and require coordinated teams and players with pretty good gear. You even have the ability to Need/Greed/Pass roll on the higher quality loot that drops!
