That error is just because your using an older version. just change:

to:
e.Mobile.SendMessage("Deleted {0} items and {1} houses." itemCount, houseCount );
and give it another try.

Somehow the bowcrafting skill isn't worth it. Even with better wood and a skill of 95.8 you only get "Damage Increase 27%" with Exceptional no other values. Is that normal? Can I change it?

Why are the other players (AI) so extremely strong? They beat dragons without any problems and take almost no damage. I myself have no chance (over 1700 skill points awarded in total) if they just attack me.
 
You need to use better wood types ti get better bows

Exceptional basic wood will only ever give so much no matter the skill

But higher bowcragt let's you use better wood, eventually up to elven and the base damage increases as you step up wood types
The ai reds are super strong yea, there are a few tactics that can make them considerably easier but there intended to be dangerous all the way up to when your dripping in artifact items and above gm in skill

They despawn after about 10 mins so running away is a valid tactic when you see them early on

FinalTwist is the shard owner but he's off doing other projects. The original shard is still publicly hosted, though.

Yea djeryv was the creator of odessey which adventures forked from 3+ years ago befor it became ruins and riches but not the origional creator of adventures, that's finaltwist, If you look back over the history of this discussion you will see them both chatting in this forum :)

Ruins was maintained by a friend of his for a few years as far as I know and the djeryve returned and activly developed for a while again on ruins and riches befor he stepped away again

But adventures has seen Continual development the whole time and still does even now, angled very much in a different direction so they have been significantly different for a good while now

Adventures the project itself is still live and kicking and updating, and the main live server is still running :), managed largely by me, tsai some volunteers nowedays

Good afternoon everyone, how to disable the sketch in the ultima (the map is covered with black squares), tell me where to fix it in the scripts so that the map is visible I play on the orion client, maybe it's in the orion or script settings UOLive. Thanks

as far as im aware only the classicuo/Tasuo clients work, you cant use the default osi client, so likely the orion client cant be used

ultima adventures comes with the client it needs and an assistant program called classic assist that we have skill macro scripts for on our discord, plus you can addin razor if you like

This is solved on the server side in UO live scripts, if you are not playing on your server, then use classic uo. If you still want to play through the Orion client, you need to disable card streaming on uolive.

Orion works great on adventure, do you play on your own server or someone else's?

TazUO is a fork of ClassicUO but they have features that are considered more "modern".

I don't know about Orion at all, but it may be worth noting that we've had some people in the past who needed to delete the folder %ProgramData%\Ultima Adventures

The newest release, I tried it out, it seems there is a constant lag. This lag doesn't exist on a earlier release.
 
I know there's at least one or two people on the Discord that have adopted it and I haven't heard anything from them about lag.

1 - Did you update your CUO? (Don't)
2 - Does the lag persist after multiple restarts?
3 - Lag is pretty generic, is there something in particular you're running into?
 
Valid questions.

1) I did not update it.
2) Yes
3) As a character is running (walking too but running more obvious) the character pauses at timely intervals and starts running again.

I've fired up an older distro of this, on the same machine, did not lag when running.
 
Is there an easy way to strip out all the accounts created as well as the characters/houses attached to them? I know of the commands to do this, but consistently the saves get corrupted. So clearhouses, set player to false to all playermobiles, then delete said playermobiles, and boom, save corrupted.

This is a crucial need for me also. Did you find a way to remove these objects and accounts?

I am looking for a fresh start instance.
 
just wanted to say wow. All of the work that went into this. I am going to scrap my world building and use this as a base. Thank you to everyone who helped build this. Thrones of destiny will be a world based on this but different. Thanks again
 
Hi, i ve started playing ultima adventures. I have a newbie ranger character. I encountered some infected monters on the road. They killed me with one shot and cloned me. As newbie ranger characters are very fragile, i left my corpse and items to rot there. There is no way that i go back and take them. Because there were so many infected monsters around. Each time i got killed by those infected monsters througout the game, I left my corpse and restart building. taming a new mount, selling animals to get gold, buying instruments... But then i noticed something. Because i had been mounted when i got killed and turned into a zombie. The follower(pet) slot which is occupied by my mount before i turn into a zombie(i.e my horse ) remains occupied by the mount of my clone even after i go to a town and get resurrected. Now all my 3 follower slots are full and i am not able to tame anything at all. I think this must be something missed

Is there any way to adjust the followers max system? I love it, I just want more. xD (like to start at 4, etc)

Also if anyone could, I've tried to change the mobiles.cs as well as the individual mobile scripts for more HP on mobs or specific ones (Demons/dragons) but nothing I've changed made a difference. Is there another place where hits on mobiles is calculated? I'm trying to match the hp to the strength of the mob as an alternate. Nothing worked so far.

How are the reds and advanced ai added to this server? is it internal and custom or used from another project? i would love to add it to my own shard
